October 1st is the official start of black sea bass season. With a 12.5" size limot and 10 fish per angler bag limit, these super tasty fish make for a fun trip. Sea bass hold in huge schools over top of structure making them easy and fun to target. You can from bait on a rig, or try your hand at jigging them up. Either way they put up a nice little fight. Did I mention they are tasty? One of the best eating fish around. I have retired from teaching and will be running trips for sea bass, and then tog as the fall progresses. The flounder action in the bay has slowed down, which is typical of this time of year. But, we are still catching some quality fish and mixing it up with tog and other species. Plenty of fun to be had out there.

The reefs are loaded with flounder, sea bass, triggerfish, and more! It's family friendly fun! If the sea's are too rough, the back bays still have a good amount of flounder and other species. If you are more inclined to fishing from land the beaches are holding kingfish, weakies, blues, and sharks. There is something for everyone! Come out and have a blast!

First time fishing for flounder and my man hauls in a 27” and 8 pound slab of fish! Amazing!

Over the last two weeks we have had amazing flounder trips. The action has been faster on some trips with a slower bite on others. But we’ve consistently been finding them… and some really nice fish on most trips! The young anglers have been putting some 4-5 pounders in the net!

We are still finding outstanding catches of flounder on both live baits and lures this season. It's been fun out there.
